Davoud has 21 years of experience of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems engineering in process and manufacturing industries. Electronics and programming was a daily hobby of Davoud since his age 10.

Davoud had a key engineering and SME role in the LNG and Oil & Gas projects in Australia including Inpex Ichthys LNG plant commissioning with leading function checks, ITR, TIR and MOC, establish of functional safety system for Chevron’s Gorgon LNG Project (SIL, SRS, V&V) and Wheatstone upstream code punch rectification. 

Prior to moving to Australia Davoud has worked on crude desalination, refinery and gas compression and power plant projects.

Consulted Rio Tinto Debottlenecked Iron Ore Fleet backlog caused by Brake Car systems by re-designing Schneider Electric PLC Code for the Compressor Brake Cars, which yielded in rectifying the issue of being a bottleneck for mine to ship ore transfer. 

Consulted Rio Tinto with safety, availability, and reliability of Ore car dumpers and train load-out control systems inclusive of locomotive on-board systems, brake cars and direct locomotive control and ATP subsystems. 

Consulted Rio Tinto to establish the Management of Change for the automated machine shop controls and electrical systems, developing the SCADA system based on Inductive Automation Ignition SCADA for wheelset machine shop (with Siemens S7 and Sinumerik 840D), in line with EEMUA-191 and ISA 18.2. 

Programmed Direct Locomotive Control (DLC) PLC for Train Car Dumper in line with the Elimination of Brake Car project, including RFID tag readers, ACI Tag readers, communication to Dumper PLC (GE Fanuc). Supported Train Load-out stations of various sites for issues related with DLC and PLC logic.
